Our First Roof in Bocas del Toro

18/7/2010 Update: Here’s a better picture. —– We recently delivered our first Palmex roof in the Bocas del Toro archipelago, on Dolphin Bay. Here are some pictures. “While designing my over-the-water house I really wanted to use palm thatched for its esthetic appeal.  However, with my past experience of short longevity, bugs and mildew of natural palms I thought I would be restricted to zinc.  When I discovered Palmex I thought I would give it a try.  We just installed it a few weeks ago and I am very pleased.  It was easy to install and looks great.” Chris White — Bocas del ...

Pool Rancho at Buenaventura

We just completed changing the roof on this beautiful pool rancho at the house of a prominent lawyer in Buenaventura. This rancho is set next to a lagoon like pool and has a view of the beautiful white-sand beach. The Palmex roofing will allow the pool to stay much cleaner, thereby providing a more pleasant environment and saving on pool maintenance.

Installing the new Palmex roof was quite a challenge because the owner of Mi Ranchito didn’t want to close the restaurant completely. To accommodate this we had to work on one section of roof at a time ...

We have also finalized our Conditions & Prices. You can now see our warehouse along the Interamericana in Gorgona: It will soon have a Palmex roof over the entrance, so you will be able to see our fantastic product first hand.

Setting up a new business

We are finally on the ground in Panama and more or less ready to do business! Michel is on location doing final business preparations, making contacts with potential partners and customers, and getting our office space ready. The ETA for our container is December 15th. It will be great to finally have products to show our customers.
